iPaper customers have struggled to maintain highly interactive flipbooks, when also using Enrichment Automation.
Previously, when you added manual enrichments to a Flipbook with EA, the manual enrichments would be wiped whenever you updated the Flipbook with Enrichment Automation or Import links enabled.
In this process, precious insights in the form of click statistics would also be lost.
The only workaround to maintain flipbooks with both automatic and manually created enrichments, was to have two flipbooks; one for manual and one for automatic enrichments.
You would export the manual enrichments, and continuously import them on your Flipbook with automatic enrichments, whenever you had updated it via Enrichment Automation. What a hassle!
These drawbacks were preventing customers from adding manual enrichments, with less engaging flipbooks as a result.
This is now a thing of the past!
You can now preserve manually added enrichments, such as videos, galleries, slideshows, images etc. while you update your automatically created enrichments via Enrichment Automation.
You can now add extra engaging content to live side by side with automated enrichments.
Your click statistics are now retained even when using the Enrichment Automation Auto-Update feature.

This feature is live now for customers with the modern version of Enrichment Automation as part of their plan.
It does not work retroactively, which means it only works on flipbooks processed with EA after November 8, 6AM CET.
You can use Update enrichments / Change PDF with Enrichment Automation to enable this feature on any Flipbook.

We’ve updated the design of our Display banners to look more slick, sleek and stylish on your website.
Instead of occupying ⅓ of your site, Display now opens on top of your existing content.
This pop up style design reduces the space Display takes up on the screen and makes for a smoother browsing experience.

We’ve designed a new CTA button for Display. You can now choose between the original floating CTA button, or our brand new bottom bar CTA.
The bottom bar button allows the Display CTA to be fixed to one place. It stays open the entire time a visitor is on the page and doesn’t invade space or hide any website content.
Like the floating CTA button, it can be styled and designed to fit your brand’s look and feel.

If you regularly use the same Display design, our new templates feature will save you a ton of time.
Once you’ve designed your Display, you can now simply save it as a template. All the design elements and branding you’ve added will be saved. You can then go in and add your current products to your template.
Templates can significantly improve your workflow and save time. You won’t need to design the same Display from scratch ever again!

From now on all checkouts will be given a unique ID.
This means you can more easily track every order throughout the iPaper platform. For example, you can now add order IDs to the subject of your email checkout and the body of your WhatsApp messages.
This will also improve your statistics as you can now track every order within the iPaper statistics module and Google Analytics.

We've added the option for you to specify an email, so customers can reply to orders.
Usually, when a user checks out via email, they get an email from no-reply@ipaper.io. Sometimes customers attempt to reply to this email because they have changes to the order or the like. These emails would end up in our inbox, but we couldn't do much about that, so now we have added the options for you to specify a receiver for these emails, so they end up in the right place.

This is more a solution to a problem than an actual feature. Sometimes our customers encounter challenges when trying to share their catalogs on Facebook, where Facebook rejects the campaign because the catalog doesn't look like a website. We have had a talk with Facebook, and it's because of the way they validate websites that sometimes they get it wrong.
So they can't really tell when, however we have now made a website that serves as a landing page before going to the actual Flipbook, so now if your campaign gets rejected you can just talk to our customer care team, and they'll enable this feature for you, and it'll work on all of your flipbooks from then on. The landing page has a thumbnail you can customize to change the place people land in the Flipbook, neat if you have a Facebook carousel that links to different sections of the Flipbook.

A lot of our plans for checkout via chat messengers is blocked by a character limit, which is difficult when we want to show all the products in a customer's basket.
However, we have come up with a solution: an overview URL where the content of your basket can be seen. The URL can then be shared by simply copying it. Aside from that, we want to help the checkout process and therefore building this Overview into actual checkout options where we are starting with Viber.
So you now see Viber as a checkout option, and the way it works is just by sending a Viber message to a predefined contact, with a link to the Overview URL.

Sometimes accidents do happen. Which we have tried to limit with the release of this feature. Previously if you were so unlucky to accidentally delete an icon or link style used by an Enrichment Automation you could potentially destroy many flipbooks using that Enrichment Automation.
However now we have taken the necessary precautions and made sure we have a way to restore if the accident happens.
So if you find yourself in accidentally deleting something at some point, be sure to reach out.
